The Spanish regulator CNMC has introduced a mandatory Sender ID (Alias) registry - the Registro de Alias - under Order TDF/149/2025. From 15 September 2026, Spanish operators are legally required to BLOCK any message sent with an alphanumeric Sender ID that is not registered in the CNMC Alias registry. Unregistered senders will simply no longer be delivered. Registration is completely free - the CNMC does not charge any registration fees.

Requirements for your Sender ID:

• Length between 3 and 11 characters.
• Allowed characters: letters a-z, A-Z, ñ, ç; numbers 0-9;
• Not allowed: leading or trailing spaces, consecutive spaces.
• Case sensitive.
• Generic senders that do not identify the holder are not allowed.

El regulador español, la CNMC, ha establecido un registro obligatorio de identificadores de remitente (alias) —el Registro de Alias— en virtud de la Orden TDF/149/2025. A partir del 15 de septiembre de 2026, los operadores españoles estarán obligados por ley a BLOQUEAR cualquier mensaje enviado con un identificador de remitente alfanumérico que no esté registrado en el Registro de Alias de la CNMC. Los mensajes de remitentes no registrados simplemente dejarán de entregarse. El registro es totalmente gratuito: la CNMC no cobra ninguna tasa de registro.

Requisitos para tu identificador de remitente:

Longitud entre 3 y 11 caracteres.
Caracteres permitidos: letras a-z, A-Z, ñ, ç; números 0-9;
No se permiten: espacios al principio o al final, ni espacios consecutivos.
Se distingue entre mayúsculas y minúsculas.
No se permiten remitentes genéricos que no identifiquen al titular.
