How does billing works for Whatsapp Business?

First, if your account is currently based on SMS credits, we will convert it to a balance-based account, as one SMS credit does not correspond to the cost of a WhatsApp message.

Second, WhatsApp messages are billed directly by Meta based on the template category (Marketing, OTP, or Utility), with a small additional per-message markup charged by Smstools.
