# How do I protect my IP address?

Go to your dashboard, then select '**Extra'** and '**Security'**.

Here you can specify that only your IP address has access to your SMS software account and SMS gateway API. You also have the option to add an IP address by clicking the '**+ Add IP Address'** button.
