* WhatsApp requires pre-approved message templates for business messaging. 
* In our platform, you can create WhatsApp message templates and submit them for Meta's approval directly. 
* Meta typically reviews and approves templates within a short time.

### How does Whatsapp/Meta pricing work?


The cost of sending WhatsApp messages consists of two components: 

**Meta's Messaging Fee**
Meta charges a fee based on the message category. This fee is paid directly to Meta. Contact sales to request our price list.

The meta fee depends on which type of message you are sending ,there are 3 types possible.

**Smstools Platform Fee **
As a Meta Tech Partner, Smstools charges a platform fee per message sent through our system.  



### Whatsapp Business Message Types: 3 possible types: Utilty, Authentication and Marketing


###### Utility 
Utility conversations are business-initiated conversations, often relating to a transaction. Think about purchase information, appointment confirmations but also notifications, and recurring billing statements to customers. 



###### Authentication  
In authentication conversations, security is key. With authentication templates, you can authenticate users with One Time Passwords at multiple touchpoints during the login or verification process, such as account registration, account recovery, and other situations where the customer’s identity needs confirmation. 



###### Marketing 
As the name suggests, marketing conversations are business-initiated conversations to market a product or service to customers. You can send your customers relevant offers, good deals, or information about product restocking. 
Good-to-know: Any business-initiated conversation that does not qualify as an authentication or utility conversation, will fall under this category.
